REFER-A-FRIEND PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS
In order for you to receive a reward payment pursuant to Toggle's Refer-a-Friend Program, you must make a "Qualified Referral," which means that you have shared the Refer-a-Friend Program link with a person (a "Referred Customer") via text message, email or social media post, and that Referred Customer arrives at our website www.gettoggle.com and completes a quote by:
- entering their name, address, and date of birth; and
- for Renters insurance – selecting either the Basic, Standard, or Premium package option, and receiving a rate for insurance in one of the states in which a Toggle Renters insurance policy is currently available as listed on our website, all of which is verified by Toggle; or
- for Auto insurance – they must complete the quote process through the review page, where the driver, vehicle, and coverage details entered are presented.
The Refer-a-Friend program link will expire upon the expiration of the program. Toggle reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to modify, suspend or terminate the program at any time.
MAXIMUM REWARD LIMITS
You are limited to one Qualified Referral for each Referred Customer up to a maximum of five (5) Qualified Referrals and up to a maximum of $125 in total reward value in any consecutive 12-month period; except that in West Virginia (WV) the maximum limit is a one-time Qualified Referral of up to $25, and in Washington (WA), you may not receive more than $100 in value in the aggregate in any consecutive 12-month period.
Additional or repeat quotes made by the same Referred Customer are not counted as additional Qualified Referrals. A Referred Customer does not need to purchase a Toggle Renters or Auto policy in order for you to receive your reward payment. Any Referred Customer who has already received a Toggle quote within the last sixty (60) days, or who is a former Toggle customer, will not count as a Qualified Referral.
Rewards are subject to verification and may be denied if Toggle believes, in its sole discretion, that referrals are fraudulent or otherwise violate these Terms. Rewards are payable in the form of a $10 reward for a Renters insurance quote or $25 reward for an Auto insurance quote, issued as a Tango Choice reward for each Qualified Referral, up to the maximum stated above for your state. Your Tango Choice reward enables you to select your preferred reward from a variable catalog of options, called a Reward Catalog, and may include digital gift cards issued by and redeemable at popular merchants, restaurants, or retailers (“gift cards”), for example. Rewards will be emailed to the same email address you provided on the referral page. The Referrer will have no ability to update their email address. Rewards will be emailed within 2-4 weeks after the Referred Customer completes or receives a verified Toggle quote. The reward issued will have an expiration of 90 days, after which any unused reward amount will no longer be available. As a Referrer, you are responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from Referral Rewards.
Eligibility is limited to individuals only who are 18 years or older. Toggle's Refer-a-Friend Program is not available in California (CA), Montana (MT), or Wyoming (WY). You do not have to be an existing Toggle customer to participate. Toggle's Refer-a-Friend Program cannot be used by businesses for affiliate lead generation.
